PE (polyethylene) material, as a high-molecular polymer, possesses stable chemical properties. Screens made from this material have several notable characteristics: high fiber strength, making them resistant to deformation from external stretching; corrosion resistance, unaffected by humid air or daily cleaning; and low static electricity buildup, reducing dust accumulation. In terms of lifespan, these screens maintain stable performance for a considerable period under normal use. It's worth noting that different specifications of screens vary in mesh density and wire diameter, parameters that directly affect their insect-proofing and ventilation performance.
Modern PE mesh screens typically employ a modular design. The main components include the screen body, frame structure, and fixing components. The screen is tensioned and fixed to the frame using specialized equipment, forming a flat protective surface. The frame material is often lightweight alloy or engineering plastic, ensuring overall structural stability while facilitating installation and maintenance. At the connection points, concealed clips or magnetic devices are typically used to ensure a tight fit between the screen and the window/door frame. Some designs also include a windproof device at the bottom to improve sealing performance in windy conditions.
