Polyester curtains are relatively easy to clean and can be hand-washed, machine-washed, or dry-cleaned. When hand-washing, be careful to separate fabrics of different shades to avoid color bleeding.

For ordinary polyester curtains, soak them in room temperature or warm water for about 30 minutes. You can use ordinary laundry detergent, washing powder, or soap, then gently rub them. It's best not to wring them dry; gently press out the foam and then rinse them in clean water. After washing, avoid wringing or tumble drying; allow them to air dry naturally and iron at a low temperature to avoid damaging their texture. For curtains with special designs such as flocked or 3D velvet, it's best to dry clean them to prevent deformation. When drying, you can use a clothes brush to comb the front of the pile. Do not iron the surface of flocked fabrics to maintain the soft feel.

If the polyester curtains have special fire-retardant adhesive, blackout adhesive, or other special materials on the back, such as Yikofang curtains or sheer curtains...

Curtains are heat-set and have shape memory function. The radial side is made of polyester flat yarn, which has the functions of heat insulation and blocking ultraviolet rays.

However, flat yarn is easy to stretch and deform. These types of curtains should be treated by soaking in soapy water and gently brushing the soiled fabric. Avoid washing and twisting them vigorously in a washing machine. Drip dry or hang dry directly. Do not wring them forcefully to maintain their original shape and flatness without damaging the adhesive. Yi Ke Fang curtains will retain their original flat shape after washing and generally do not require ironing. If other curtains need ironing, please iron the fabric at a medium temperature.
